CHAPTER 1 - THE UNITY OF THE GODHEAD AND THETRINITY OF THE PERSONS THEREIN

1.1 The Holy Scriptures teach us that there is a Trinity of Persons in the Godhead - Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Not only are there three names or manifestations, but there are three distinct Divine persons, One in Nature, Essence, and Attributes.

In their perfection they are Divine, Eternal, Unchangeable, All-knowing, All-mighty, All-wise, Righteous, Holy, Good and Merciful. These attributes of the Godhead are found referred, in every part of the Word of God, and are clearly revealed through its page. (Numbers 6:22-27; Isaiah 6: 3; Matt. 3: 16, 17; 28, 19; John 15:26; 1 John 5:7).
